This sweet couple’s wedding day was absolute perfection.
It misted outside all morning, conveniently wrapping up
just as we headed out for Brian and Marlee’s first look.
I love the anticipation end excitement you feel for the couple
as he stands with his back turned, patiently waiting.
The limo pulls up and she steps out, sneaks up behind him
and taps him on the shoulder.
Then he turns around and, BAM.
Every time. I get to witness that admiration
and awestruck appreciation for his new bride.
It will never get old.
We toured around downtown Winnipeg for photos.
I couldn’t pass up a quaint bench along Waterfront
that looked like it could have actually been Central Park.
Then we stopped in to wet our wistles at Peg Beer Co.,
a beer pub located in the Exchange District.
The natural light was amazing and it’s industrial design was on point.
I could have shot there all day.
Afterwards, we finished up at the Forks, making friends with the
toothless fishermen down by the docks.
Words can’t convey the stunning grandeur of the architecture
of the Human Rights Museum.
The ceremony took place in the middle of the
Stuart Clark Garden of Contemplation, and it was magical.
Afterwards, Era Bistro catered a beautiful meal.
It was awesome getting to know you M + B!
You two have hearts of gold and I feel so fortunate
to be able to call you friends. :)
