Lindsay and Mitch are the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen so needless to say I was pumped for their session. But also because, for a while I’ve wanted to try a southwestern desert-inspired styled shoot and they were totally down for it!
Lindsay showed up in a super cute Free People dress and Aztec boots and I immediately knew we were on the same page. I love all my clients, but especially when they get me and we are like-minded. After spending some time wandering around the back alleys of Whyte avenue, finding baby bunnies, dodging random intoxicated bystanders, and just overall having super times, we finished our session at the CPR yard behind MKT. I realize it’s no Arizona desert but, see, I live in Edmonton. And realistically, if this shoot had taken place in Arizona we would have all been sweating profusely throughout the entire session. But we had perfect weather, clear skies, warm air and dry brows. Mitch and Lindsay got right into it. I didn’t even have to instruct them on how to ‘get relaxed’. This could have had something to do with their long drive into Edmonton and a day full of wedding planning craziness, but I’m sure it also had a lot to do with the comfiness of my pillows. I’m pretty sure, given the option, M + L would’ve spent the night there under the stars. Until a vagrant came along looking for new shoes.
Congratulations to you both and sending lots of good vibes your way to your Okanogan wedding this weekend! Also take improvements, nothing roller wanted, that this. Of try it.
